In the America First movement, loyalty to President Trump and the millions of patriots who put him back in the White House isn’t optional. Thomas Massie loves to cosplay as a bold conservative voice, but his record proves he’s a phony who puts personal contrarianism, libertarian purity tests, and old grudges ahead of winning for the country. True MAGA demands results, not endless obstruction and ego trips. Here are 20 ironclad reasons why he’s fake MAGA through and through and why Kentucky voters should primary him immediately.
- He was eager to gun down Trump supporters on January 6. While patriots stormed the Capitol to protest a stolen election, Massie barricaded himself and later bragged he was “glad” he and other members were armed… signaling he was ready and willing to use lethal force against Americans fighting for election integrity.
- He endorsed Ron DeSantis over Trump and actively campaigned against the MAGA leader. Instead of uniting behind the man who redefined the Republican Party, Massie threw his weight behind DeSantis in the primaries and worked to derail Trump’s comeback.
- He bragged about having “Trump antibodies.” Massie openly declared he’d developed “antibodies” to Trump, treating the President and everything he stands for like a sickness he proudly resisted.
- He compared MAGA to a disease and a virus. By framing his resistance to Trump as immunity from a contagious illness, Massie made it crystal clear he views the entire grassroots MAGA movement as something toxic that needs to be fought off.
- He called President Trump a bully. Massie publicly labeled Trump a bully while pushing his DeSantis endorsement, revealing personal contempt for the strongest America First leader in a generation.
- He did nothing to help Trump win in 2024. While claiming to bring libertarians onboard, Massie lifted not one finger for Trump’s campaign. The libertarians were already shifting to Trump on their own before Massie ever got involved.
- He helped DeSantis instead of Trump. Massie poured real effort into boosting DeSantis’s anti-Trump bid while sitting on the sidelines during the most important election of our lifetimes.
- He’s an opportunist who only pretends to be MAGA now. Massie jumped on the DeSantis train when it looked promising and only started cozying up to the MAGA label once Trump’s victory was inevitable. This is classic flip-flopping behavior.
- He plays semantic games on mass deportations. When talking about the border, Massie carefully limits himself to “deporting criminals” and refuses to fully endorse President Trump’s mass deportation plan, revealing he’s soft on the invasion and more worried about optics than securing America.
- He’s a pseudo-intellectual contrarian cosplayer. Massie struts around acting like the smartest guy in the room with his libertarian lectures, but it’s all an act. He’s just a grandstander who loves attention more than actual results.
- He votes “no” on almost everything. Whether it’s funding bills, border security packages, or America First priorities, Massie is famous for being the lone wolf obstructionist who blocks progress to stroke his own ego.
- He’s a perpetual grandstander who delays real wins. Instead of quietly advancing conservative goals, Massie forces unnecessary votes and creates drama just to get headlines and feel important.
- He prioritizes ideology over loyalty. Massie’s rigid libertarian worldview consistently puts abstract principles above standing shoulder-to-shoulder with President Trump and the MAGA base when it matters most.
- He publicly trashes the President he claims to support. Massie doesn’t hesitate to criticize Trump on policy, timing, and even personal style, actions that scream “Trump hater” more than team player.
- He’s ineffective and weak. Voting against nearly every major bill makes him a non-factor in Congress, delivering zero tangible victories for Kentucky or the country while real fighters get things done.
- He undermines party unity at critical moments. By constantly playing the outsider, Massie divides Republicans when the movement needs total lockstep support to deliver on America First promises.
- His biggest defenders have zero real-world influence. The loudest voices online hyping Massie are anonymous accounts and keyboard warriors with no actual clout, no voters, and no ability to move the needle in elections.
- He’s out of touch with the MAGA base. While true patriots demand mass deportations, strong borders, and unwavering Trump loyalty, Massie’s word games and contrarian stunts show he doesn’t understand (or care about) what the movement actually wants.
- President Trump himself has rejected him as fake MAGA. Trump has publicly called Massie a “loser,” “weak,” “ineffective,” and “not MAGA,” even vowing to campaign hard for a primary challenger because the congressman puts grandstanding over America First.
- At his core, he’s depraved and disqualifying. Putting personal ego, old grudges, and fake intellectualism above loyalty to Trump supporters, election integrity, border security, and real conservative victories isn’t just disappointing. It’s depraved and proves he’s the ultimate fake MAGA who sucks.
Kentucky deserves a real America First fighter in Congress, not a self-important contrarian who undermines the movement at every turn. It’s time to primary Thomas Massie and replace him with someone who actually stands with President Trump and the MAGA base without apology. Real patriots see through the act. 22. Massie cashes checks from the Squad. Several of his big donors, including the Mahrouq family, have maxed out with $7,000 donations to him while simultaneously maxing out to radical left Democrats like Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush, Ro Khanna, and Keith Ellison — the exact Squad members trying to destroy America First.
23. His war chest is built on crossover leftist money. While true MAGA fighters get their money from patriotic Trump supporters and real conservatives, Massie depends on Democrat-adjacent donors who play both sides of the aisle to keep a contrarian insider in Congress sabotaging President Trump’s agenda.
24. Taking Democrat donor money exposes him as fake MAGA. No genuine conservative would ever be comfortable with the vast majority of their funding coming from people who also finance the radical left, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, and the Squad. This is more ironclad proof that Massie is a grifter and an opportunist, not a loyal Trump ally.
