BREAKING: CNN suspends Chris Cuomo indefinitely after revelations he used job to help his brother

On Tuesday, CNN host Chris Cuomo was suspended from the outlet following revelations that he had a bigger function to play in defending his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, than beforehand thought.

“The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions,” CNN stated in an announcement on Tuesday, in accordance to The New York Times.

“When Chris admitted to us that he had offered advice to his brother’s staff, he broke our rules and we acknowledged that publicly,” the community stated. “But we also appreciated the unique position he was in and understood his need to put family first and job second. However, these documents point to a greater level of involvement in his brother’s efforts than we previously knew,” the assertion continued.

“As a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely, pending further evaluation,” CNN  stated.

The youthful Cuomo brother was revealed to have requested to be concerned with the preparations in his brother’s sexual harassment case, and made efforts to observe down pending articles from information shops that had been in regards to the allegations towards Andrew Cuomo.

In the thousands of pages of recent proof launched by New York Attorney General Letitia James, Cuomo was revealed to have been “actively in touch” with his brother’s high aide Melissa DeRosa, and gave her full statements to be used by Adnrew Cuomo, in addition to leads into his accusers.

“I would – when asked, I would reach out to sources, other journalists, to see if they had heard of anybody else coming out,” Cuomo advised investigators.
