Just like shaking hands with the âair,â Joe Biden appears to spend an awful lot of time interacting with âpeopleâ who arenât there⌠and itâs only getting worse. Now, it appears that either Joe Biden has officially lost his marbles to some unnamed brain disease, or heâs conducting seances in his free time, conjuring up conversations with his dead relatives. Thatâs the only way to explain this latest head-scratcher.
Although, we shouldnât give fact-checkers new âexcuse ideasâ to cover for Dear Leader BidenâŚ
Breitbart reported that Joe Biden shared a story Friday of conversations he had with his father and uncle when he was elected vice president, although both were dead at the time he claimed he had the exchanges.
The president made remarks about his family history during a town hall event for veterans in Delaware.
He said:
You know, I â my dad, when I got elected vice president, he said, âJoey, Uncle Frank fought in the Battle of the Bulge.â He was not feeling very well now â not because of the Battle of the Bulge. But he said, âAnd he won the Purple Heart. And he never received it. He never â he never got it. Do you think you could help him get it? Weâll surprise him.â
But the dates do not line up.
Biden was elected vice president in 2008.
President Bidenâs uncle Frank Biden died in 1999, according to his obituary.
Bidenâs father, Joe Biden Sr., died in 2002.
The president continued his story without correcting the dates.
âSo we got him the Purple Heart. He had won it in the Battle of the Bulge,â Biden said referring to him and his dad. âAnd I remember he came over to the house, and I came out, and he said, âPresent it to him, okay?â We had the family there.â
Biden recalled that his uncle was not thrilled by the gesture.
I said, âUncle Frank, you won this. And I want toâŚâ He said, âI donât want the damn thing.â No, Iâm serious. He said, âI donât want it.â I said, âWhatâs the matter, Uncle Frank? You earned it.â He said, âYeah, but the others died. The others died. I lived. I donât want it.â
It is unclear what about Bidenâs story is true and what is not.
If Biden did somehow obtain a Purple Heart medal for his uncle, he would have done it as a senator, when both his father and uncle were alive.
I just want you to sit back for a moment close your eyes, and imagine if President Donald J. Trump had said something like this. Do you think the media coverage would have been breathlessly obsessive? Do you picture it to be a 24/7 âbreaking newsâ bonanza on how Trump has lost his mind, and 678 pundits dragged on TV to discuss the 25th amendment?
Of course. Thatâs exactly what would have happened, no doubt in anyoneâs mind.
However, when Joe Biden does it, all you hear are crickets.
And thatâs just further proof that our media is a joke and is only in place to act as a propaganda wing for the communist left.
