The J6 hearings were a massive flop. You can’t expect an entire country to rally around Chuck Schumer and his vandalized fax machine. Honestly, who cares? I will not lose any sleep over some filthy rich politicians feeling supposedly “scared” for a few hours, while Cap police invited Trump supporters inside to take “tours” of the Capitol. The ONLY people I feel bad for are Ashli Babbit’s family. I couldn’t care less that someone pooped on Schumer’s desk, or sat in Nancy’s chair. But what I do care about are all the Americans who lost their businesses, homes, and lives during the left-wing “Summer of Love” riots, that lit half the country on fire. But you won’t see Dems hold hearings on that because some minority person who lost their livelihood doesn’t hold a candle to Chuck Schumer and his precious fax machine.
So, it’s really no wonder that the J6 hearings were a total flop. Even when they were aired in PRIME TIME, where basically, Americans who don’t “stream” their TV, had no choice but to watch them, they only topped out at 2-0 million viewers. That might sound like a lot, but it’s not. Keep in mind, unpopular, bumbling Joe Biden got 40 million people to watch his bungled State of The Union.
But it gets worse…
The Hill reported that when taken out of primetime, the 1/6 numbers almost completely cratered. Monday, June 13 saw an average of about 10 million viewers. By Day three on Thursday, the number of viewers dropped even further.
Consider also the perception of these hearings, which some in the media keep referring to as bipartisan when they are not, at least in spirit. Just 51 percent of voters approve of the House select committee, according to Morning Consult. Among independent voters, the number drops to 45 percent.
In other words, half the country respects the committee while half does not. If the goal is to change minds and make people care more than before, that doesn’t seem to be happening. Most importantly, none of the witnesses are facing anything resembling cross-examination because the minority party is not truly represented. (Staunch Trump critics Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) don’t count regardless of the letter next to their name.)
Steve Krakauer, who is an editor at The Federalist, and a columnist at The New York Post says that the Trump raid has connected with Americans, in a way that the J6 hearings never did. And he said those hearings ended up being so irrelevant, that he would be shocked to see them come back before midterms, which likely means, they would not be back at all.
Krakauer share a graph from Politico of the “generic” midterm ballot to back up his point. Here’s what he said “The FBI’s Trump raid really exposes how irrelevant the entire summer of January 6 committee hearings were to shifting public perception… didn’t make a blip. The raid though seems to have landed. Would be surprised if the hearings come back before Nov.”

While I totally agree that the J6 hearings were a useless flop, I’d actually be shocked if Dems don’t bring them back. Dems are relentless. They will keep throwing sh*t at the wall, until something, anything, sticks.
Besides, they love the idea of a lot of “Trump chaos” going on at once. They’ll have the J6 stuff on one stage, and the “Nuclear Docs” on another stage, and then on a third stage they’ll have the crazy lady in New York, who’s going after Trump.
And they think all of that will help them in the midterms. Meanwhile, Americans can’t afford gas, food, and still can’t locate baby formula.
How out of touch can you be?
