We think about ourselves real patriots — the sort of people that get chills when fireworks go off on the Fourth of July, who reflexively get up when the National Anthem is performed and imagine America remains to be the best nation on earth. And we imagine this nation is crammed with others like us who haven’t been afforded the chance to be heard.
