With fuel costs hovering to file highs throughout the U.S. this week, President Joe Biden mentioned Tuesday that they’re going to proceed going up.
When questioned by reporters in Texas of what he’s planning on doing, Biden solid blame on Russian President Vladimir Putin, amid the nation’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
“I can’t do much right now. Russia’s responsible,” Biden mentioned.
As OutKick’s Joe Kinsey relayed Tuesday, the Biden administration introduced a ban on the import of Russian oil together with liquefied nationwide fuel and coal. Gas costs have risen to an all-time excessive of $4.17 per gallon within the U.S., over $6 for premium in states reminiscent of California.
“This is a step that we’re taking to inflict further pain on Putin, but there will be costs as well here in the United States,” Biden mentioned.
