MSNBC host Joy Reid says it’s racist that you simply care about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Reid claims you may have sympathy for lifeless Ukrainian folks solely as a result of they’re white and possibly a bit Christian.
“Let’s face it, the world is paying attention because this is happening in Europe. If this was happening anywhere else would we see the same outpouring of support and compassion?” Reid mentioned on Monday.
“We don’t need to ask ourselves if the international response would be the same if Russia unleashed their horror on a country that wasn’t white and largely Christian, because Russia has already done it. In Syria”
“The coverage of Ukraine has revealed a pretty radical disparity in how human Ukrainians look and feel to western media compared to their browner and blacker counterparts, with some reporters using very telling comparisons in their analyses of the war,” Reid provides.
What telling comparisons are reporters utilizing of their analyses of the struggle? Reid didn’t say. However, she hopes you don’t make her specify. It would break her complete monologue. It may even be racist to ask.
See, a sophisticated struggle is outdoors of the far-Left’s wheelhouse. Reid will not be alone. Recently, 1619 Project writer Nikole Hannah-Jones declared that Europe will not be a continent and known as anybody who thinks in any other case a racist.
The left-wing media depends on shaming and race-baiting. The woke playbook doesn’t embrace offering information updates and knowledge.
Reid has, notably, has struggled to cowl the Russia-Ukraine struggle to this level. Look on the scores, nobody is watching her at 7 pm.

Reid lacks the anchor expertise to ask questions and doesn’t have a deep sufficient understanding of geopolitics or historical past to present context across the occasion. She’s misplaced. So, naturally, Reid had to pivot, reel to story into her lane.
“This is a teachable moment for us in the media. We aren’t afraid to call out our own industry. There is a lot of soul-searching that we need to do in Western media,” Reid concludes.
Luckily, Reid doesn’t want to seek for her personal soul. She is aware of precisely who she is: a race-baiting bigot now wanting to weaponize lifeless civilians in Ukraine.
There are a variety of schmucks on tv. But nobody is worse than Joy Reid.
