You know it’s bad when CNN’s legal analyst is bashing your moves. And that’s exactly what happened when Paul Callan went after Biden and Garland’s FBI raid on President Trump’s personal home at Mar-a-Lago. Callan called the raid “unnecessary” and a “daring and dangerous” action against a former President of the United States. Yes, “daring and dangerous” to say the least…it’s mindboggling how anyone thought this would be a good idea.
CNN Host Brianna Keilar kicked things off by saying there are a lot of unanswered questions right now and then she talked about the possibility that this was just a Presidential Records Act violation and asked Callan if he thought that was enough to warrant a 30 FBI agents ransacking, raiding, and busting open the former president’s safe…
“No, it’s not enough to warrant all this,” Callan replied. “And this is a daring and dangerous move by the Department of Justice to serve a warrant on a former president and to raid his personal residence.”
Watch:
This is so off-putting and just disgusting that some Dems are even speaking out about it.
2020 Dem presidential candidate Andrew Yang can clearly see how bad this looks to the average American. And he’s right, especially after everything we’ve watched these people do to President Trump.
This is what Andrew Yang said in a tweet: “I’m no Trump fan. I want him as far away from the White House as possible. But a fundamental part of his appeal has been that it’s him against a corrupt government establishment. This raid strengthens that case for millions of Americans who will see this as unjust persecution.”
Here’s what Andrew Cuomo said: “DOJ must immediately explain the reason for its raid & it must be more than a search for inconsequential archives or it will be viewed as a political tactic and undermine any future credible investigation & legitimacy of January 6 investigations.”
What happened was wrong, and the Dems and the GOP establishment will pay for this. They keep upping the ante, thinking we won’t respond, but we will.
