JEB! Bush, the “please clap” disaster, who actually thought he’d win the 2016 presidential nomination, slinked off into the sunset after President Trump mopped up the floor with him.
He was also the former governor of Florida.
We really haven’t heard much from Jeb since the 2016 GOP primary. He’s been laying pretty low.
I wish we could say the same thing about his brother, George, but no matter what we do, we can’t seem to get rid of that guy.
However, speaking of the Bush family — the political “dynasty” actually crumbled last night and ended, thanks to the defeat of George P. Bush in Texas.
The Bush dynasty is finally dead… which is good for America.
The Bush Dynasty is dead.

And you have to wonder, do they have a plan to make a comeback, or is this it for the Bushs? The political powerhouse family will just quietly ride off into the sunset?

Maybe… but maybe not, because JEB! Bush just made an interesting move that has me wondering what he’s really up to.
Jeb wrote a blurb in TIME Magazine, lauding MAGA/America First Governor DeSantis.
Now, many Republicans are cheering, claiming Jeb’s been “red-pilled,” but I am over here thinking, “Not so fast…”
First off, here’s what Jeb wrote:
During the pandemic, most people stayed home, and those who didn’t probably moved to Florida. Despite relentless criticism, Governor Ron DeSantis kept schools open, ensured Florida’s economy remained open for business, and allowed individuals to determine their own risk tolerance. His approach works. It’s one that has allowed Florida to emerge from the pandemic as a national model of personal freedom, economic growth, environmental protection, and education excellence. Florida continues to see record population growth, unemployment remains below the national average, the private sector is growing, and Florida remains a national leader in school choice. On top of that, DeSantis has demonstrated his environmental credentials with major investments to restore America’s Everglades, preserve and expand wildlife corridors, and protect Florida’s precious waterways. While the Beltway crowd may not like his style, it’s his record that will become his legacy.
It’s very nice and actually true.
But is globalist/establishment Jeb saying all this because he truly believes it, or because he sees his family being knocked completely out of politics, and is trying to “rebrand” the family and weasel back in?
Did Jeb have an epiphany, and turn in his Globalist Card for a MAGA hat, or is this just a ruse to rebrand the Bush name and get some political relevancy back?
I guess time will tell, but I am very suspicious and I wouldn’t trust a Bush as far as I could throw one.
